It's the cabin fever that probably affects folk the most, Colin. I was wondering the other day though whether the players we had who contracted the respiratory illness before the Rutherglen game have fully recovered? Would appreciate an update on them?
Also, can the club give us any indication of which league we're likely to be playing in when football does eventually resume, as I note there is a one week extension until April 7th for the proposed WoSL?
Many thanks, John
No attempt at ethical or social seduction can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred of the Tory party. So far as I'm concerned they're lower than vermin. Aneurin Bevan.
I assume the players previously affected will have recovered as there were only doubts about 2 prior to the last scheduled game against Hurlford. I don't know however about any current situation. With regard to next season the Committee will as usu make the best decision in the interests of the Club and a statement will be issued in due course.
It just shows you how the world changes. This lockdown is just like it used to be every Sunday. In fact there are still more shops open and buses running than we used to get on a regular Sunday when I was a boy.
